Mrembo, mwimbaji, muigizaji na mjasiriamali; Shilole, was born in Igunga, Tabora Tanzania in 1987. Raised by a single mom who died at an early age, Shilole worked hard to overcome her challenges to one of the most influential artists of her generation in Tanzania.Shilole’s story of overcoming a hard childhood to become one of the leading female artists in Tanzania is considered an inspiration to many people in Tanzania.

Mbali na kazi zake, namfahau Shilole kutokana na ujasiri wake (kwa lugha nyingine au lugha ya mtaani kabisa na pengine labda inawezekana ikaleta maana mbaya lakini hilo sio lengo langu, ila ningesema anapenda kujitoa ufahamu ili afike au aweze kutimiza lengo lake – which is absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!)

Nilishawahi kusikiliza muziki wake ila zaidi nimemfahamu zaidi muda ambao alikuwa anaenda kusoma (kujifunza kiingereza) and i was inspired by her tireless efforts, very humble and eager to learn….. it wasn’t easy , hell it was a mess but look at her now she is way far than where she was yesterday and that is because she decided to step outside her comfort zone. Yani aliuvua usanii wake na kusema to hell atakaecheka basi na acheke ila lazima kiingereza nikifahamu na mimi niweze kuifikisha sanaa yangu mbele.
Leo hii mbali na kufanya muziki na wasanii wa kimataifa Shilole anakaa na watu ambao hawafahamu Kiswahili na kujieleza na kuieleza sio tu sanaa yake bali na mambo mengine kedekede anayoyafanya kwa kiingereza. NOW THAT’S WHAT WE CALL SUCCESS.
Everyone, infact all of us dream to succeed but the big question is and should be “how many of us have the guts to fail? Because if we don’t fail, then we are not even trying. IF YOU DON’T FAIL YOU ARE NOT EVEN TRYING.

Considered one of the top artists in Tanzania and i will avoid using ” one of the top female artists ” for a reason , she has not only been nominated numerous times in multiple platforms inside and outside Tanzania but also has recorded with a number of artists in Africa. She is no doubt one of the most influential and most loved artist in Tanzania and for that reason she is absolutely fit to be our Belz and Bold of the month ( beautiful and brave).
